Prof Joe Ikechebelu
Joseph Ifeanyichukwu Ikechebelu is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Fertility Expert and Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgeon with the Faculty of Medicine, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Nnewi Campus and a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons .
He was Head, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (2008-2010), Dean of Medicine (2012-2014), Director of Academic Planning (2019-2021), and currently Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He is a member of the National Task Team on Prevention of Mother-To-Child Transmission (PMTCT) of HIV (2003 to date), the pioneer President of Association of Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgeons (AGES) of Nigeria (2017-2021) and Chairman/Chief Examiner, Faculty of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, West African College of Surgeons (WACS) since 2019. He has trained over 300 medical doctors (consultants and residents) in Gynaecological endoscopy as the course director of Life institute for Endoscopy – a premier endoscopy training facility in Nigeria. His Research focus is on Infertility & Assisted Reproductive Technology, Gynaecological Endoscopy and PMTCT, with over 150 peer-reviewed articles published in reputable journals.
Dr. Akintobi Olajide
Endo-Surgeon & Gynaecologist. Minimal Access Surgeon, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist.
He has over 20 years medical experience. A member of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, United Kingdom. He pioneered operative gynaecological endoscopy in many Nigerian Hospitals and is a
renowned trainer in the field of Minimal Access Surgery in Nigeria.
Prof Jude Okohue
Jude Ehiabhi Okohue is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology based in Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the Medical College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the West African College of Surgeons.
He is currently the Dean of the faculty of Medicine, Madonna University and Director of the Minimal Access Surgery Unit of Madonna University Teaching Hospital in Rivers State, Nigeria. He is equally the Medical Director of Gynescope Specialist Hospital, a fertility and Gynaecological Endoscopy Unit. Professor Okohue is the pioneer editor of the official journal of the Association of Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgeons (AGES) and serves as the West African representative at the Global Congress on Hysteroscopy (GCH) in Barcelona, Spain. He has been invited by leading international organisations such as the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), Hysmena, Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria (SOGON), International Hysteroscopy Conference, IFFS, AFRH, GCH, among others, as faculty. Professor Okohue’s research interest is in infertility, Assisted reproduction, and Gynaecological endoscopy. He has published several papers in leading international journals, with numerous textbook chapters to his credit.
Dr. Prashant Bhamare
Endo-Surgeon & Gynaecologist. Specialist in Advanced Gynae Endoscopic Surgeon. Specialist in fertility treatment.
He has 30 years experience and has performed over 8,000 advanced Gynaec Endoscopic surgeries. He has extensive teaching experience as faculty for multiple graduate and post graduate courses, training and operative workshops in india where he practices and globally. He is passionate about trying new technologies, concepts and products that improve patient outcome.
